Global Genes, a leading advocacy organization whose mission is to CONNECT, EMPOWER and INSPIRE the rare disease community is proud to host the 2018 LEMS Community Development Workshop. This workshop is open to all LEMS patients and caregivers who are interested in learning more about community development and advocacy. Global Genes will facilitate an open dialogue to determine the interests and needs of the LEMS patient community and explore various avenues to address identified needs.
To further the workshop’s goals, Global Genes is excited to collaborate with the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America. Workshop attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in the MGFA National Conference. The National MG Conference is the largest gathering of the MG Community in the U.S. More than 200 participants will gather to learn, share and socialize with others who understand.
